This week I’ll be posting the last bunches of my Iceland finds. I may be squeezing in two per day just to get them all in, as I know many folks who will soon be venturing there. I’ll be back to posting more of SF next week.
This here is Matarkistan, the sweetest little bakeshop I found off a side street in Reykjavik. They make an assortment of goodies including muffins, scones, cookies and macarons. But the specialty here are their hafraklattar which are soft little crumble bars loaded with fruits, nuts, grains and even chocolate. I picked up one of each flavor (cranberry, apples + cinnamon, and chocolate) for the flight home. My big regret is that I didn’t pick up more as these were amazingly delicious. If any of you are making your way to Iceland, please bring me back some of these!
